I remember watching a 2-year old Caleb Rillos turn on his parents computer and print out a document. I was amazed that such a little person could do that! Well, this morning I had the TV set to a music station when I left the room to throw in some laundry. When I returned, I saw that Dane had turned on the DVD player and had Elmo playing. And he did all of this from the remote! So he had to switch the receiver from TV mode to DVD mode and then hit play. I know he's seen me do it hundreds of times, so I shouldn't be surprised that he could do it, but I AM. Little kids are amazing!!!
Dane has also started linking words together. Today, he said "purple ball," "on please," and "more yellow." Again, kids are amazing!!

Its time to buy him a blackberry. I think he is ready for it.
Of course he figured out the remote... he's a guy, and Papa's grandson on top of it! ;)

Wow now that is wonderful parenting. Like Stacy said, teach him how to get up sat. morning and fix breakfast and start the movie while mom and dad sleep.
I think kids know a lot more then we ever realized. You are seeing it. Good Job Dane.
