What I Wore Wednesday

Hello Lovely People!

How's the week going?  Mine has been amazing.  Two of my boys accepted Christ and asked God into their hearts!!!  AND I went on a women's retreat where I had time to think and evaluate my life.  I prayed and wrote down goals.  I was convicted on several things, but the one that stood out was our debt.  We have debt.
And it feels like a weight on my shoulders.
A weight I'd like to get rid of very soon.

So...in the spirit of (finally) obeying God in this area, I'm going on a self-imposed 90 day shopping freeze!!

This should be super easy considering I've gone a little crazy ever since Tripp's birth.  I seriously have things in my closet I've either never worn or worn a single time.

But I love getting packages in the mail.  And I'll miss that.  But I can deal.
My bank account is banking on me.  Pun intended :-).

Ok enough about that...here's what I wore this week!

I wore this to the women's retreat.  My mom gave me the sweater, and I love it.  Thanks Mom!
I've had these boots for several years, and this is the first time I've noticed the calf circumference issue. Hmmm...I think riding boots will be on my list in 90 days.
Kidding!!  These are fine.  I can wait til next Fall :-).

Sweater: Land's End Canvas / Jeans: Gap / Boots: Steve Madden
I wore this to my friend's baby shower.  It was one of the most beautiful baby showers ever.  And I felt way too casual.  Jeans and faux leather boots were not the way to go!  But I had a blast with dear friends...that's all that matters.
(Can you tell I just got back from a women's retreat?!?!  Ha!)
Sweater: Local store / Jeans: Nordstrom BP / Boots: Steve Madden
Necklace: Artistic Works by Lu
I wore this to BSF.  It was a rainy Fall day, and I wanted to be cozy.  And this poncho rocks.  It is made of sweatshirt material, and if feels like I'm wrapped in a blanket.  Another gift from Mom (she has great taste, no?).
Poncho: Anthropologie / Shirt: Nordstrom / Jeans: Nordstrom BP / Scarf: Old Navy
Booties: Nordstrom
That's it!  I'm sure you'll hear more about my debt reduction story in the coming weeks!  Until then, have an amazing week.  And check out The Pleated Poppy and Rolled Up Pretty!

Love them all. My favorite is the second outfit and your hair in that photo...so cute!

Excited to see what you come up with within your closet!

I love the first outfit, but I am a sucker for stripes.

I also gave up shopping for Lent one year, and it was harder than expected - things just seemed to leap into my cart at Target. Best of luck on this challenge!
