What I Wore Wednesday

Hello Lovely People!
I hope everyone is having a great week.  We've been enjoying some beautiful Fall weather.  It's my favorite time of year, and I've been trying to slow down and enjoy the perfect temps and vibrant colors.  Fall goes fast here in MN, so we have to take it in while we can.

I've had lots of reasons to dress up this week.  My favorite reason was a night out with good friends.
I don't get to do that very often, so I cherished it.  And the outfit I wore is my new favorite.  It's simple but sort of edgy.  I don't consider myself edgy at all, but oddly enough, I felt like myself in this outfit.  And this is my new favorite t-shirt.  It's super soft and has faux leather sleeves.
Yep, leather sleeves.  It's sort of amazing.
Shirt: Zara / Jeans: Gap / Shoes: Target
I wish I had a cute blazer to layer on top, but I didn't, so this cardigan was the next best thing.
Cardigan: J. Crew
This is my second favorite outfit this week.  I wore this to BSF, so it's a little more polished.  I found this post on J's Everyday Fashion, and I loved her pairing of mint/aqua with camel.  I never would have put this together on my own.
Sweater: Local Store / Jeans: Gap / Shoes: Target
We decided to head to the Apple Orchard after church on Sunday, so I changed into this country-inspired outfit.  I knew the orchard would be really dusty, so I wanted to wear my cowboy boots, and this is what I came up with.  The dress is a little long, but other than that, I think it worked okay.  It just felt a little off because I don't usually wear cowboy boots (although based on my radio station selection, I am 90% country :-).
Dress: Land's End Canvas / Cardigan: Old Navy / Scarf & Boots: Target
I wore this running to/from school.  This cardigan is the ONE thing I kept from my maternity collection.  I purchased it in the last trimester of my third pregnancy, so I didn't have time to get sick of it.  I normally feel like burning my maternity clothes after each pregnancy, so this was a big deal.  It's just so cozy.  I had to keep it.
T-shirt: Target / Cardigan: Motherhood Maternity / Jeans: Loft / Shoes: Nordstrom
See what I mean?  Cozy.

I wore this to/from school and to a play date.  It was freezing in the morning, but I was sweating by 10:30.  I was a little too efficient in my layering.  (That will come in handy this January.)
Sweater: Target / Jeans: Nordstrom BP / Jacket: Gap / Shoes: Nordstrom

Have a great week!
