What I Wore Wednesday

I have one outfit to post today.  ONE.  That's it, and that's all.  We spent most of last week up in Ely, MN celebrating the 4th.  And, for some reason, my brain was gone by the time I packed my bag.  It could have been that I had already packed 3 other little people's bags, not really sure, but I could not get my head on to pack for myself.  So...I ended up with one swimsuit, two t-shirts, one long sleeve shirt and one dress.  And one pair of jeans that I had intended to cut into shorts.  That was it.

For FIVE days on the lake.

Ha ha ha ha!!!!

Anyway, our trip up North was about spending time with good friends and enjoying the gorgeous scenery,  so I guess it was okay to reuse (and reuse) the same clothes.

I had to improvise with what I had brought, and on this particular day, it was sprinkling and a bit cool, so I threw on my one long sleeve shirt over my one dress.  I think it turned out pretty cute.

And when does a plaid button up not work in the woods?

Dress: Forever 21 / Shirt: Target

The other reason I have one outfit to post is because my hubby and I have spent every last second of free time getting our house ready for an appraisal.

We have sanded, painted, power washed, fixed holes, installed new lighting, hung shelving and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned to make our house look pretty.

We are exhausted.

But I am in clean house heaven :-).

I think I'll sit back and have a beer and just look at my clean house.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!  Don't forget to check out The Pleated Poppy!  I'm also linking up with What I Wore Wednesday and Watch What I'm Wearing.  FUN!

Love that striped dress! I think the plaid shirt looks really cute with it, too!
