What I Wore Wednesday

Hello lovely people!  Welcome to another week of WIWW!
We had crazy weather this week, so dressing appropriately was challenging.  We had tons of rain and tons of wind, and then we had this amazing humidity with high temps (can you sense the sarcasm?).  I used to love humidity.  I wanted to live in Florida where you were warm to your bones.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?  But those days are gone.  It might have something to do with having 3 kids and spending ample time outdoors chasing them all over.  I'd probably change my mind if I was just sitting by a pool drinking margaritas.  Then, Florida would suit me just fine :-).

I wore this outfit on Father's Day.
(Yes, this is a skirt...that happens to look like shorts in crazy wind.)

I added a denim shirt when the temperature dropped.
Top: Chicos / Tank: Loft / Skirt: CAbi / Shoes: Banana Republic

It was too hot to really put much thought into an outfit one day, so I pulled out this old dress and threw it on.  I hadn't worn it in a few years.  It's not very forgiving on a fluctuating tummy.  I actually almost gave it away once.  But I'm glad I held onto it.  It's easy and summery and sporty.  And this tummy best not be fluctuating anytime soon.  Can I get an Amen?  :-)

Dress: Athleta / Shoes: Havaianas
Hop on over to The Pleated Poppy if you need some fashion inspiration.  It's fun to see what people are wearing.  Have a great day!!
