What Dane is Thankful For!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Today, Dane wants to let everyone know about somethings he is thankful for. We recently took off the front of his crib to create a "Big Boy Bed." We are heading to Illinois to see Shelly's Dad for Christmas and will likely need to stop and stay in a hotel half way. Knowing Dane will be in a bed (lil E will have the Pack N Play), we thought it would be great to get him used to sleeping in a bed at home versus in a hotel. Let me tell you...he absolutely loves his new big boy bed. More than anything, he likes to use it as a trampoline. I'm not exactly sure how long it will hold up, but for now he is extremely "Thankful" for his new big boy bed!

Looks a little strained on the way down!!!

Sweet ups Dane!!!

Here he is the first night he slept in it. To our knowledge, he hasn't fallen off yet.

Dane is also thankful for his "Snuggles with Mommy!" The other day he said, "Hey Mom, you wanna snuggle on the white ottoman? Mom you wanna snuggle?" How can you say no to that? So Shell and Big D got a little quality time on our spare ottoman. Such a cute moment.

Dane even went and got a blanket to keep Shelly warm.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone again!!! From Big D!

I am thankful for all my beautiful grandchildren! Better get a couple more strong slats under that big boy bed! Nana and Papa and your Hooten cousins are SO looking forward to your Christmas visit... I heard a rumor that Santa knows you're all coming ;-)
