New Animal Songs

Dane loves his "Purple," his CD player, and his CDs, but right now his most favorite thing is getting a new CD. He's not all that careful with his CDs and they get scratched quite quickly and often. When that happens we'll make him a new one, and then he'll throw the "ucky" CD away in the garbage. Dane is aware that new CDs come from the "Coopu," that is computer, he also knows what is involved in making them in iTunes...they start from playlists. He's just beginning to learn the patience needed to wait for the CDs as they burn. But when they are finished...he is in Heaven! The other day we made him a new copy of Raffi's "Animal Songs" CD. The joy he receives from getting a new CD is just priceless. You'll see what I mean below. The video is slightly long, but well worth it.



Most of you know that Shelly was on the Academy Women's gymnastics team. She's been working with Dane on his technique and he is showing some promise.



Last week, Dane caught a 24 hour bug. He was such a trooper and didn't complain much at all. The biggest thing we noticed is that he was super tired. He was watching an episode of Diego and he fell asleep...which never happens. Shelly ended up just bringing him to his crib.


After Dane woke up, Shelly was working on the computer and came out to see Dane next to his Purple. He had fallen asleep again. This time on the hard wood floor.


We went to the Minnesota Zoo a couple weekends ago. Dane wasn't all that interested in the animals...he mostly enjoyed running around.





It had been a long time since we'd done an official photo shoot with Dane. We tried to snap some photos on Easter but this is the only pic we got of him sitting still!
