What I Wore Wednesday & Trend of the Month

Hi Everyone!

In addition to linking up with The Pleated Poppy for WIWW, I'm also linking up with Marion for her Trend of the Month challenge!

This month's trend is Black & White.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever worn just black and white before.  I usually have on jeans or some other color to mix it up.  But I love how simple the two colors look together, and I will definitely be sporting this color combo again!

To set the stage for these photos...it was 5 degrees outside with a windchill of -14.
And the background is white because I'm standing in front of a giant snow bank.
Yep, good ole' Minnesota!!!

Dress worn as skirt: Forever 21 / Sweater: Local Shop / Leggings: Athleta
Booties: Target

Think you'll be wearing black & white this season?
I love this trend because everyone has these colors in their closet - no need to go shopping!
Have a great week!!

Brrrrr!!! You're very brave for standing outside without a coat, but the pictures look great. I really like your black & white outfit - it still manages to look fun and lighthearted. It helps that I have a soft spot for stripes.
