We recently had one of the best December snow storms on record. On a Sunday!
No school...no work...just lots of time to play in the gorgeous white beautiful snow.
The boys really enjoyed playing in the snow when we had less than an inch on the ground (see this post). For some reason, our littlest two did not enjoy the massive amounts of snow on this particular day. Perhaps it was coming down too fast and getting in their eyes, or maybe it was too difficult to walk in. Not sure, but Tripp & Erik only lasted about 10 minutes before wanting to come back inside.
Dane, on the other hand, stayed outside for hours. He loved shoveling the streets.
And using our summer beach toys to scoop and dump snow.
Just look at the winter wonderland! And that cute puff ball of a boy isn't too shabby either :-)
Our neighbor, Brent, stopped by to say hi on his 4-wheeler. As soon as he left, Dane said "Can we get one of those??"
And finally, the snowman. His entire face is made of candy. Yorks for eyes, a candy cane for the nose and Dots for the mouth. I guess that's what happens when your house contains more candy than veggies. Sad!
Squeeze your kids tight today - and make lots of memories together!!!
