What I Wore Wednesday

I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy again this week to post a few of my outfits! And I did better this week. I sheepishly asked Matt to take some photos. And I have to say, hats off to all you bloggers out there who go to actual destinations (other than your front yard) to take photos. Taking my photos took all of 5 minutes, but I still felt so awkward. I kept thinking "What if the five middle schoolers running around our neighborhood see this? Or worse, what if some adult is peeking out their window watching this?" Ahhhh....it was such a strange feeling.  So again, hats off to those of you taking photos in busy areas where actual people are walking by (rather than imaginary people staring out of their windows :-).

I wore this outfit while running errands. It's one of my favorite looks. Stripes and very casual.

I wore this out to dinner with friends. It was my first time wearing wedges since 2006. Kidding, but that's what it felt like. I even rolled my ankle walking across the street to the restaurant. True story :-)

I wore this to church on Sunday. It was a super warm day! After seeing these photos, I realized the top made me look a bit preggers (and my tummy does that anyway, so I don't want a shirt helping me out, ya know?), so I think I would tuck it in next time I wore it. Maybe wear it with a skinny belt. We'll see.
