Dane wanted to get in the action. He won't let us take his picture, but wants to get involved when we take Erik's. He started playing a little game of Peek-a-Boo. You can see how much Erik loves his big brother!
After Dane was finished Erik was like, "Hey dude, where are you going?"
Erik has been standing a little bit (with our help of course). He did a great job standing by himself. Check out the fatty thighs...
Of course Shell was ready to make the save...Great catch Mom!!
As usual, Dane started a song (these days it is Michael Jackson's "Beat-it") and began dancing.

Caught a cute moment when Dane was sitting on Shell's lap. At first he wouldn't look at the camera and we got him with the old, "Don't look at the camera! Whatever you do, don't look at the camera." Boom, Pow, Bam...Busted! Like butta!!!

I have missed you guys. Dane is still such a cutie & a little ham. And Erik. OMG! So cute. That last photo of him alone looks like he's doing a little dance.
These pictures are fantastic! My favorite ones are the jazz hands and that precious dimple of Shelly's in the picture with Dane! Jack will not really let us take pictures of him anymore either! What a beautiful family :) I cannot BELIEVE Erik is already EIGHT months old! Amazing! I need to treasure everyday too - hard to imagine Stenn is EIGHT weeks old already!!!
I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our world, and I am fairly confident when I say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about almost every day.

Happy 8 Months Erik! I can't believe he's 8 months already...my goodness! Adorable photos!!! Love the one of Shelly and Dane...what a sweet moment!
