Ten on Tuesday

Dane is loving all the new toys he received for his birthday! It seems like he is willing to sit and play for longer periods of time lately (and by longer, I mean about 10 min, but it's still nice!). Here are a few shots of him playing with Mr. Potato Head. Notice how there's an arm coming out of Mr. Potato Head's head. He likes putting the pieces in all the wrong places, and then moving them around to other wrong places. Very creative...
He loves putting on Mr. Potato Head's glasses. A perfect fit!
Dane helped daddy put together a new motorcycle. He can't wait to take it for a spin in the cul-de-sac.

Dane received a play dough fun factory. He spent about 20 minutes telling me what to make and what color to use. Each time I asked him if he wanted to make something, he'd say 'No, Mommy do it."
And here is Dane trying his best to jump and throw his ball at the same time. He's been working hard to get both feet off the ground, but when he concentrates on the jump, he lets the ball go too early. It's pretty cute how focused he is.

Success. His feet are almost completely off the ground!
Dane eating his first Nutella. His face is so serious here...just like daddy when he's enjoying Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch.
Another rainstorm...Dane wanted to meet daddy when he got home from work. Those green rain boots were getting lots of use...only now, we have snow on the ground again. Sigh. Another wonderful Minnesota Spring!

Oh I love that he's sitting in the plastic Rubbermaid container. Adorable! And it's fun to see that Dane still likes to put on glasses. Last summer when you guys were here he was putting mine on himself... too big... and now Mr. Potatohead's... too small. Too cute!

Has he learned to sing and dance the "Daddy's Coming Home" routine? That is a tradition he should continue.
