Active Boy!!!

Wow, is our little boy active! I know we've mentioned it on the blog before, but he absolutely loves anything to do with balls. Our neighbors have a basketball hoop that lots of neighbor kids like to shoot on. Dane is no exception. He's even wandered into their garage a couple times looking for stray basketballs. We had a Chernobyl style melt down a couple weeks ago when we had to bring him inside to take a bath and get ready for bed. Heavy, heavy sobbing. It was heartbreaking and adorable at the same time. Here are some pictures of a recent hoops session.

Dane's recently started throwing his balls to us as well. He'll run with it above his head (see below) and toss it. It does look like he is going to tip over at times but he hasn't yet.

Grammy, Shelly's mom, got Dane a wagon. He's only been for a ride in it one time and would not stay seated. It seriously took 3 of us to keep him from falling out. The wind running through his hair gave it some extra-body.

I typically can't get pictures like this one of Dane. He usually won't stop long enough for me to get the shot. I thanked him with a bunch of kisses after this 3 second glance into the camera.
