Hello from Egypt!!!

Yep, Shelly and I are 6500 miles from home visiting Shelly's dad. He is working in Egypt for 2 years so we thought it would be the perfect time to see one of the oldest civilizations in the world. It has been an incredible experience, but we miss Dane so much. Here are a couple quick snapshots. We'll add more when we get back home.

Here we are in the tomb of Cheop's Wife. Cheop's was the Pharoah who built the tallest of the 3 Giza pyramids. He had a much smaller pyramid built for his wife.

Standing in front of the Sphinx and the second tallest pyramid for Cheop's Son.

Close up of the Sphinx.

Shelly and Bob in front of the Citadel outside Cairo. This fortress and Mosque was built to protect the city from the Crusades.
