The "First" Supper

Dane started eating rice cereal on Labor Day. It was such a fun experience for the 3 of us. We absolutely loved watching Dane trying something new...the slight hesitation, the faces, the mess, the success...we loved it all! He definitely enjoyed the cereal, but we think he liked the spoon even more. Here are some pictures of his first meal.

He's not used to us putting things in his mouth, so he kept trying to use his own hands.

He eventually got his hands in there and tried to do it himself. After that, he was all about the spoon!

After Dane finished eating, we gave him the spoon to play with. He pushed it in a little too far...
